hello ,,ithaca doubles can go from the hundreds of dollars to the thousands of dollars depending on the grade and the model,,highly engraved model should have a hands on apraisal because unless you are well versed in ithaca doubles an apprasial by just a description could be way off base,, i'd look for a local gunshhow in your aera and take it in with you ,,most shows have appraisers who will give honest apprasials ,,but get a couple and if your selling don't sell to the first guy who looks at it or makes you an offer

..also look online at gunbrokers .com and see if you can find your model and see what has bids and the prices there going for ,,to give you an idea of what collectors are buying for ,,but remember the starting prices without bid can be too high and may not even take a starting bid ,,so look for guns with bids to see what they are actually selling for ,,auctions that are close to ending will be the most active if the gun in the auction is worth what people are bidding on it and some auctions will go crazy withing the last 15 min's of the end.. so watch these especially because i've seen some guns never take a bid untill the last 15 min's and then go sometimes twice what the starting bid was ,,collectors don't like getting into a bidding wars with other collectors so they sometimes wait and see how much activity is on the item toward the end of the auction and they will bid then,,just some advice for ya on your shotgun..
