The name "Capt. Jack" was a Trade name ie: Defender, Acme, Blue Jacket and the such. H&A was established in 1868 and made several Spur Triggered revolvers in 22, 32,38 or 41 caliber. Some were nickled or blue. Hinged-frame or break-opens with round ribbed barrels of various lengths with checkered black plastic grips.

Value is staed for a 22 caliber as Poor $75, To Good at $450. The 38cal. Navy revolver list between Poor $175 to Good at $1650. The 44 Army revolver list between $350 to $2500. Go figure?
