I have a browning Auto 5 with serial 143xxx. Based on the serial number shows should have been made between 1903-1939. Stock not in best condition was told by a gunsmith about 6 years ago probably only worth about $1500 and he would buy it but I thought it should be worth more. Shoots smooth and little recoil for a 12 ga. What do you think the range of the worth?
