I have a 7mm mauser. The crest has been removed. The only marking is the serial number, which is V4322. The butt plate is metal and extends up over the top of the stock cone. With a bolt in it. Also, over the serial number is a crescent moon looking symbol. Can anyone help me out with the model number, so that I can acquire a safety for it . Thanks
