hello,,,it sounds like you proably have a scrubbed model 1916 or 1893 7mm spanish short rifle ,,by scrubbed i mean ,,alot of spanish 7mm rifles had there identifying marks removed before they were sold to other countries ,,when you say the barrel is marked 7mm i assume you looking at the import stamp on the barrel near the front site ,,proably an importers name ther also and should be a country of origin,,ya may need a magnifying glass to see it but it should be there if it was imported after the law required importers to stamp this info on anything they imported ,,i've seen alot of these with and without markings ,,and yours sounds like it's a matching serial number example and they sell in the 125 good -250 exc (matching#) range if in original military configuration with full stock ,bayonet lug and upper handguard and cleaning rod ,,many of these have been cutdown into sporting /hunting rifles and if your isn't completly military configuration value would be much lower ,,a sporter with a cutdown stock might be worth 75-100 as a hunting rifle ,,if you have a pic i could verify it being a spanish with a pic of the bolt and action aera,,
