I have a 7,65 Mauser Pistol, S/N 338041. Left Side: "Waffenfabrik Mauser A-G Oberndorf A.N" Right Side: "Mauser 7,65 Germany". How much is it worth? If I decide to sell it, any suggestions on the best way?

Pictures attached.

hello,,it kinda sounds like a mauser pocket pistol,,proably a model 1914,,value for it should be around 225-325 if really nice ..in a private sale situation,,

you could advertise it here for sale thru a ffl dealer or list it online for sale thru a dealer ,,when selling online it must be sent to a current ffl licenced dealer for proper transfer and only ship the pistol to the dealers physical address ,,he will proably require either you send a copy of your current drivers licence or ask the pistol to be shipped from another dealer to him for his records ,,it could be sold privatly "but to protect yourself" it should be taken to a gunshop and transfered there,,especially if you don't know the person buying it,,a ffl or a c+r licence is required for transfering the pistol,,and don't let someone who ya don't know con ya about the atf+e regulations ,,and never ship to private individuals !..without first seeing a signed copy firearms licence and then again only ship to the physical address on the licence ,,

Wayne - bigcurt is correct. You have a 1914 Mauser pocket model that was made post WWI in the mid 1920s. It is export marked (Germany) and is in good condition. I would value it in the $250-300 range. To get the best price I recommend auctioning it on GunBroker.com . The buyer must have a FFL, C&R FFL or have it sent to a dealer with an FFL. Regards,

I have inherited a similar gun, the 765 Mauser Politie. Does anyone know where I can get ammunition for it? I will likely sell it if ammo is not readily available.

7.65 mm is also known as .32 APC (automatic pistol cartriage) and it is available at all most all ammunition retailers, even Wal-mart. Is your pistol marked "Politie"?

Hi. It is indeed a Politie. My local gun shop did not have ammo, nor did a large online supplier. On the other hand 2 other online sources said it's a .32. I'll verify again that they don't fit thanks.

It is a .32ACP round that your pocket pistol fires. I have one just like it.
