i have a 1944 russian sks all numbers match there is some rust does work no star has a triangle with arrow not laminate real wood stock gun is in good working condition

Well, that's not an SKS, it appears to be an M44. Are these the correct photos?

Ok. You have a Mosin Nagant M44, not an SKS. The SKS is a semi-automatic rifle.

I can't see enough of the stock to tell which variant it is, so I can't determine if it's correct to the rifle.

If you are looking for a value, typically these are in the $175 range right now.

The whole, thing really, but I'd be looking at things like the sling holes, etc.

You can check them yourself by clicking here. The M44 model examples are about 1/3 of the way down the page.

It would also be cool to see a clear, no flash, photo of the markings on the top of the barrel where the triangle/arrow Izhevsk aresnal mark are.
