your french rifle is proably a gras md 1874,, complete and with matching serial numbers and in original unaltered configuration,,is worth between 400 fair -1000 excellent ,,but for the higher numbers it has to be correct!and these numbers would be at auction to a french collector,,many dealers still haven't seen the values these old warhorses will bring and they wouldn't offer much and proably under 200 for it ,,but i can tell from experience selling them for a local shop online the DO have collector intrest for nice examples,
