I have a .22 cal colt colteer rifle semiauto that was my grandpas any idea of value and when it was made

Made from 1957-66

They are not that common but not really a collectible. In like new condition possibly as high as $350, if you have the box that would be a huge plus.

I recently purchased one of these and was told they were made from 1964-1976. I found that mine did not have a serial number. This meant it was one of the earliest ones.
