Massachusetts House of Representatives Tuesday killed a disputed proposal by the governor to raise license fees for guns - and then voted to dramatically lower the existing fee.
The gun license fee there is 100$, the governor thought that increasing the fee to 200$ is a great way to pay for the costs of the health care system in the state and asked the house of representative to pass the bill, somehow not only the bill was denied but the members passed another bill saying that the license fee would be cut down to 40$.

I have to agree with Ragner on the WTF response, sure the bill has to reach the Senate and the fee would probably remain 100$ at the end but you have to admit that it was a nice move.
