If you look at the frame you'll find a box with two letters inside, like [AH] or something. It should be mid-frame or at the rear-side.

It has a PB in a circle in frount of the mod. 950 BS-25 Cal. MADE IN U.S.A. I would like to know thw year and about how much it worth ?? THANKS DJB.

Are you the original person with the post of serial BU57720 above?

I am not that familiar with these models but I believe you'll find a proof stamp under the grips on the frame.

You may find a P.S.F. stamp nearby. That is the proof mark. Then there will be a proof date:
This will be a two letter <email> or BB or something like that. Please remove the grips, don't loose the screws, and find that two letter code.

Report that back and I can tell the value and year of manufacture.

I have no proof mark under the grips. Its just blank on both sides.. Thank you thought!!!

No markings under the grips or on the frame? Perhaps a Roman numeral instead? Hm. At a bit of a loss otherwise.
