I am trying to find some information on a pistol. The numbers on the gun are 5786 K PRFTE (the K is slighty raised above the 5786) and it says Italy. I dont see a name of the manufacturer. Please help!

anything marked on the grips?and also is it a revolver,,or semi auto and what caliber is it?and do ya have a pic to post..that may help some ,,your description is just too vague to figure who may have made it from a serial number and some letters..
