i am trying to find out the yr and value on a Browning Bar II Safari 300 mag barrel marked Belgium assembled in Portigul serial #107nx09284 gun is about 98% and has a Nikon 4x12x40

I also have a belgium browning BAR in 30-06 that was made in belgium; it says Morgan, Utah, and Montreal, R. Q. (republic of Quebeque) on left side
of barrel, and Browning Patents on right side;
the serial no. 04238 M71 does not fit the browning s/n's format from 1969 and up;

It looks exactly like yours, but mine was made in Belgium; I am gessing mine weas made around 1954-1959; not sure;
