I am looking to find the value of a gun I inherited from my father. It is a WWII rifle. 8mm 06 ACK IMP. It has the eagle with a swastika below on the left side of the barrel, next to that is the numbers 4467 with a CC below those numbers. There is a Mod.98 marking. A stamp that looks like a shield (?) with the numbers 44 square mark 38. I am not sure what is needed to identify this gun. The gun stock has been changed and a modern scope has been installed on the scope mounts. Please help. Thank you for your time. If needed I am able to send pictures of gun.
