The Husqvarna has a stepped barrel approx three inches from foregrip steps down about 3mm giving a narrow muzzle end approx 7 or 8 inches long. Unlike the typical mauser, this one doesn't have the full length stock but one that only runs about 13 or 14 inches from rear of bolt. Typical internal magazine, 5 rounds. Extremely accurate and flat shot over any distance up to and including 450metres. Each component has a crown stamped on it, Mag, Bolt, breach, barrel. The stock has numbers in typical mauser style with armourers genuine sighting measurements upon manufacture which appear on disc-like wooden chips embedded into one side of the stock. All components except scope are genuine and in excellent condition.

The Stirling has Model 15 stamped into the barrel however the closest i can find is the Stirling Model 1500 which appears to be the same. I've lost the Magazine for it so quite upset however I've sourced a replacement. This rifle like the mauser shoots beautifully, reasonably accurate up to 200metres. Good condition.

Any info mate would be great.
Cheers, Brad.

I'm not sure what other information you may need to justify a value. It appears the mauser is around the $500-$700 mark (AUD). The stirling looks like about $250-$300. What do you reckon?

This is the 6.5. The measurements I gave you before were not quite right. This pic will give you a much better idea.

well up my way ..on the east coast the mauser would proably bring 200 to the right hunter looking for backup rifle,,the stirling would proably be about the same mabey a little more at auction,,it's a nice mauser and good acurate rifles ..but military stocked original sweeds bring more than sporterized versions,,the crowns are just factory proofs for the metal parts ,,
