I have a double barrel 12 gauge hammerless smithsonian shotgun, I was wanting to find out how old the gun is and about when it was made. thank you.

I can narrow it to 1888-1931, look up Crescent Firearms Company and it's history, they were sold literally under hundreds of names. Decent and inexpensive for their time, but I wouldn't shoot it.
