Hello,

There are lots of them for sale on Gunbroker starting as low as $175... with no interested bidders.

My best guess is that the market for them is currently very slow, and the price needs to be somewhere in the vicinity of $150 to sell one.

I most assuredly do... and you just might try checking for yourself instead of making unfounded false statements. And just as a friendly warning to you... keep it civil!

Here is one that can be purchased for $149.95 and it has no bids - http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx? Item=276019018

Good for you... hopefully you left the barrel a minumum of 18-inchs long, and the overall length of the gun is at least 26-inches. Otherwise, you now have an illegal SBS (short barreled shotgun), and it is worth a $250,000 fine, and up to 10-years in a federal facility most likely not of your choice.

I tried to look at the gun but it was no longer available. Do you know if it was used and why are these guns cheaper than expected? Are there significant flaws in the design or just a lack of consumer interest?

Lack of consumer interest, and there were a few million of them manufactured. The Model 1300 is not what the shotgun crowd (people) considers a "high" quality gun, though there is nothing wrong with them. At any given time, you can find dozens of them listed for sale, and from as little as $140.

Great answer although I don't know why anyone with a computer would need to ask and then doubt you! I own one ,they're great but they were designed as a bargain shotgun and sold tons. I love the I took a hacksaw to it so its worth more. Lmao

Dann,

I do not know the answer to your question, but I suspect that it is not of a higher value.

I traded a PSE compound bow for one. it's in good shape has a little bit of surface rust on the barrel but overall a nice shotgun. I had about 200 to 225 in the bow. but I will hang onto this anyway

Now you do realize even with it at 18 inches it is a felony, it has to be at least 18 1/4 inches long to be legal. Get your facts right
