hello,,i beleive savage rifle shoot outa the box as good or better than any production gun on the market today! i've owned 6 since i started hunting and always recommend them to budget minded shooter looking for value and accuracy rolled into one rifle for hunting,,that said i'd esitmate your savage to value at around 250-350 used mabey a little more to someone looking for a great rifle that will shoot as good as the big 3 ,,unfortunatly the savage bolt guns are not a high resale rifle and there not a fancy stocked keep in the case rifle.. but ya can't beat them in my books and are a steal when it comes to buying a used one ,, i really like them and hunt with a 30-06 detachable mag model thats put many a whitail on the ground in it's day!!they have a smooth action and they hit where you shoot!!and won't hurt your wallet!!
