you can get a aug copy,(MSAR STG-556) for under 2000, the real deal i've seen go for 2200 used up to the new price of 3700. the best advantage i think an aug has is the ability to change from a short assult 16" barrel to a 22" barrel for long range accuracy and it can do this in about 30 seconds. it also comes with the advantage of being able to sling the brass out either side for left or right hand shooters, in my oppinion one of the best assult rifles in the world. it's australia's main battle rifle.
