My mother-inlaw recently gave me the following pistol that had belonged to my father-in-law. I would like for someone to tell me pretty close to the mfg. date and appx worth. On the left side it has .22LR and an eagle stamp below that it says SUPERMATIC TROPHY AND high standard towards the rear. right side has HIGH STANDARD mfg. corp and model 106 SN#1530XXX. I suppose that it has a "Bull Barrel" and has the weight attachment screws on bottom of barrel. Adjustable rear sight. I think that it should grade as very fine. Only thing that I can see is some discoloration on trigger.

Kim: I did send an e-mail to the addy you gave me but no response as yet on my High Standard Supermatic Trophy Model 106. Really would like for someone to give me their best estimate on value and appx date of mfg. Also would like estimated value of the 20 gauge Ruger Red Label and appx mfg date. Serial number on pistol is #1530XXX and 20 gauge is #410-209XX.

Thanks for anyones help.

According to the High Standard collectors guide, your Supermatic was made in 1966. The value would be at least $600, more if you have the original box. These are awesome shooting pistols, don't trash it and it will worth even more. These are not glove box guns. If you want to sell it, let me know and we can work out a fair price.
