Hey, I have a Western Field 410 single shot, break action shotgun. I believe it was my great grandfather's but could have just been my grandfather's boyhood gun. Its in great shape and is a really beautiful gun. I shot it once as a boy and it had trouble ejecting rounds. They almost always swelled up and jammed. I was told I was using "newer brass" that would do that in older guns. I don't plan to shoot it again any time soon but would be intrested to know if I should EVER shoot it agian. The serial number is 42700 D. Also curious what its worth.

Thanks,

Paul in California
