Hello I was given a winchester model 92. SN# 928976. I have been trying to find some info on this gun but the models I have found show a MODEL 1892 and mine shows MODEL 92. is there any difference and what is it worth.
Thanks John

hello your winchester 92 was made in 1924 and value would be around 1000 good-3000 VG for the standard grade to a winchester collector or at a good winchester auction ..but condition means preimum ,,these prices are for original guns without alteration and retaining original finishes on both wood and metal,,if it's a fancy sporting rifle with pistol grip and checkered stocks the value may double! but again depending on the codition,,
