have inherited a Winchester
model 1892 44 mag.lever action rifle would likeb know its appropx value

44 Mag was not an original caliber offered by Winchester for the Model 1892. They were chambered in .44 caliber but not magnum. So before a value can be offered we need to clear that up. It may be a later special offering by Winchester but that would be a totally different value scenario.
