I have collected Winchester 57's for 40 plus years. Values continue to increase...If yours is not a reBlue (rub your fingernail over the double proof mark on receiver and barrel...if it still is elevated and has a ghost ring where struck...it's original)it is valuable...I have several new among just a few shy of 100 rifles...Purchased an "as new" 57 last fall from original owner in Arizona....Values go from $250 to $3000 and up depending on condition, rarity and originality...Most do NOT still have original follower marked 22LR or 22 SHORT magazines. Original canvas straps are a plus also...The production numbers in the books are incorrect. If I may be of assistance please let me know.....I am ALWAYS purchasing 57's...Regards, Artistsport3
