Could anybody give my the value of a H & R Model 999 Sportsman .22 cal. revolver in good condition? It is a 9-shot double-action handgun.

the 999 sportsman is a great little revolver and i see them at shows in the 150-200 price range in good or better condition,,they shoot great and are basically trouble free pistols..

great gun but prices has increased becouse of demand.my local gun shop has a very nice used one he is asking 399.00. if you can get one for 250.00 it would be a deal.

I had no qlue it was worth anything... thats my only revolver and I love it. I want to add some larger caliber revolvers to my collection. starting with a .357 snub nosed, what would be a good choice new or used . looking to spend around $300.
