Criminals are not known for being overly intelligent. It reminds me of a story where a guy tried to rob an archery story with a knife. The lady that owned the store had a compound hunting bow in her hands when the guy pointed the knife at her and told her to give over the money from the cash register. She picked up a broadhead and let him have it. The arrow passed threw him, threw a screen door and lodged in a car door outside. The would be robber was found two blocks away in an ally, bled out and was assuming room temperature.

See?!? Every weapon must be outlawed. We can't have people able to endanger the lives of others simply because their economic position drives them to commit crimes. They are socially misguided, and we have to look to the root causes that caused that poor soul to try to rob a store. The person who owned the store is just a selfish capitalist, with more money than she needs. The fact that the owner had access to a weapon helped nothing. It simply added more violence to the situation, and everyone who is at all educated knows violence solves nothing. The misguided person who tried to rob the store might have tried to hurt the clerk, but his repressed condition excuses that. The store owner, however, had her own business and money, therefore her actions are inexcusable. This proves that all weapons, not just guns should be outlawed. The police are all the protection anyone needs. No simple civilian can adaquately and safely handle a firearm without being a police officer or in the armed services, and even if they could, the person who meekly submits to the robber/rapist/murderer is morally superior to the person who stoops to resorting to violence. Anyone who would think to own or use a gun deserves being assaulted/raped/murdered. Bringing violence to a situation hurts everyone. Mike I hope everyone knows I'm joking.
