Gun Safe Recommendations

Mine is a Fort Knox Executive series. Works well, and looks great in the wife's family room.

My wife was reading over my shoulder when I read the original post. She said only one word: Browning! And get one at least twice as big as you think you need. It's much easier to make room for a larger safe than you think you need than it is to make room for the second safe.

Nothing to say about brands. I have an older Liberty that is not fireproof.

Do buy one at least one size larger than you think you need. Lots of other things in your home will migrate into the safe.

I have a Fort Knox Yeager safe. It's great and has the highest fire rating of any safe I could find. Of course, it weighs in at almost 2000 lbs.
