we’ve been blessed with gun control now for iam guessing , since the med 80s . its been quite an ordeal. to date over 2 billion dolars has been spent by our goverment. in the begining ttheir were charging 25.00 a gun to register. seem no one was registering their firearms then they reinbuse our money. every 5 years the amnesty date was extented another 5 years just hopeing
people would reg their firearms. in the begining some clowns were registering stapleing guns, paint guns etc. i can say that the staff at there head office isgetting much knowagable in firearms world. has there been horror stories, you bet, homes have been broken into if guns were taken our police dept. try their best to have you charged with unsafe storage. even if there one live cartrigde out in the open their can take our your firearms then your have the lenghty wait of court dates trying to prove you are reliable enough to own firearms.does gun regeristy work? not really,but our police officers know what you have. to date not one gang member or criminal has lined up to reg. their firearms.
I suppose that is the whole problem with the gun laws - the enforceability.
nancy i truly believe our goverment has taken away our rights of self protection. our guns have to be under lock and key while the ammo has to be stored in a different steel cabinet under lock and key. there is no such thing as a carry premitt for the average joe. so the likely hood of you getting the bad guy to stay put until you unlock both cabinets and load you weapon is very unlikely. i am not against gun control but their really need to rethink some of the rules suitty
I agree. The rules need to be enforceable, and I do think that some rules need to exist - but they seem to be missing the mark.
I am lucky to live in a state (Idaho) that is not affected as much as many others by federal gun control . Right now we are trying to pass a law that limits gun laws to state regulations , not federal , much like a law recently passed in our neighboring state of Montana . please help support our rights . Remember gun laws only effect law abiding citizens but their not the ones we have to worry about are they !
