I have a friend who has a .25 Excam and when he fired it the last time the firing pin flew back and hit him in the chest, it didn't injure him but he retrieved the firing pin and is wondering why it flew out in the first place and how to fix the problem, I found out where to buy a new pin but it comes in two types, slotted and un-slotted, I'm wondering if there is some kind of retaining pin or the like to keep the pin in place when firing.
