I have a German wartime P38. It is the Mauser variation as it has the BYF markings on it with 44 underneath that. From what I can find, according to the serial number, 6347q, 5,000 were produced mixed Waa. All serial numbers match, in very good condition, with a holtster. What would be the general value of this piece?

P38's are a hard sell. They have to be special or minty.

I paid $750 for a minty byf44 3-diget no letter block with holster and I think I over paid but I really wanted it so....
