Food For Thought?

I titled this blog as Food for thought..While watching tv This morning I came across a informertial about feed the children.I deceided to watch it because it was a close to home situation..No it wasn’t in some far off country,,and no it wasn’t from a tidle wave,or drug cartell country ,or a tornado..it was in ohio.a small town who had some plant closeings and a bunch of people outa work who were having a problem feeding there familys,,Well I’m sure we have all seen the famished countrys children starving and the horror stories that come with them..but when you turn your tv on and see charities feeding kids in a country that spends more on a war we will never win everyday.. it makes you wander just how far we are advancing and when will it end ?Believe me I completly support our men and woman over there doing what there commander in cheif tells them to do,,but every one that comes home in a bodybag is senceless..We all take it for granted that we have the best country in the world and everybody wants to be like us ..But do they really want our policies jammed down there throat? Would you want a country comming in here and telling you what to do and not do..I think not!!we would fight them tooth and nail and die beleiving we were right doing so..but when another country doesn’t want what we deceide they need ..then we will create a situation of “you need us” to help make your people understand what there missing! Are they really missing anything?are they missing the taxes,,are they missing the unemployment problems,,are they missing the crime rate ,,are they missing the poverty,,They usually have a dictator who tells them what to do or not do ,,they have rules and regulations that if they break they pay the concquences..they have food,,they have religious beleifs,,and the rich get richer and the poor get poorer..so just what is it they need from us?Credit cards to live on? fast food ?25.00 an hour jobs?To have a say in what there government does?(we don’t really have that right)some will say we do but.. “do we really”?Or mabey they need big department stores stocked with chinese merchandise!..does anybody else but me beleive that they should be able to live there lives the way they chose to?Not the way we think they should!!what gives our government the right to deceide how other people want to live?Sure it would be great to live crime free and everybody to have good jobs that would support there familys,, and be able to get affordable health care..and i could go on and on but we don’t even have those convienances in this country,,But we sure try pretty dam hard to give it to any country around the world that crys and moans how hard they have it..and how bad it is  there,,look around you ..how many people do ya know who are living day to day and wandering whats gonna go up tommorow ? I really don’t think we will be happy untill every country in this world is us governed,, We will spend billions to get a country up to our standards and as soon as they get the check they go back to their way of doing things(case in point -Vietnam)We spent how much money and how many died there ..for what?so we could build fast food stores there and the comunists are still running the country,,Of all our so called allies and countries we have helped ..which one has sent us anything to help our homeless or outa work? They will send us more junk for the stores to stock,,and take away jobs here because  it’s “cheaper” to bring it in than produce it here..but then why does everything cost so much?we used to drill and use our own oil and gas costs were under a dollar..  but it’s cheaper to ship it in from middle eastern countries..than to refine our own ..but why is gas 2.50+ a gallon ..we used to make steel in this country and cars cost about 3000-5000 ,,but it’s cheaper to bring it in from overseas,, and now cars cost 20.000  ,,and most of the major us companys today are owned by someone who speaks another language..and they don’t care about american workers because if you don’t like what they pay go elswhere.. so how are we the most advanced country in the world? when we just sit around playing video games and supporting the other countries around the world buying there junk and feeding there kids while ours are being trained that we can’t do anything on our own!It’s time we say NO to feeding and supporting other countries and look to educating people about american pride before it’s too late….and give them a reason to be proud to be americans again! But we give our government the power to make dissisions on there own weather or not we want or really need them because there our elected officials and there looking out for us ,,YEA RIGHT,,their not hungry and they don’t have to buy their gas,,and they have nice homes,,and their kids go to college and we pay for it.and what do we get in return..A pink slip or more taxes to cover government needs or programs “we need”! i don’t NEED anything but a shotgun a rifle and a 4 wheel drive and this country boy will survive!!
