after 37 years of being out ofthe family i got my fathers fn browning back. the?? serial # 260125 the old girls sports a 26.5 solid matt rib and still has 70 % of thebluing stock and forearm had numberous cracks and dings. i know this is a no no but i refinished the wood as well as all new checkering, she has to nice of figured walnut to leave bare. the gun will never leave this family again. would like to know the date of manufactured and where? thanks suitty

from what i've found your A5 was manufactured in 1948, produced by Fabrique Nationale in Belgium.
