hello,,eddystone was an arsenal in PA that was under remington supervision to make 1917 enfields during ww1,,there 1 of 3 commonly found 1917 enfeild manufacturs ,,the other two were winchester and remington,,the eddystones seem to be valueing in the 350-450 range these days for correct examples ,,i see them sometimes higher but they will sell in the ranges quoted more often than higher prices ,,these value are for rifles in original military configurations not cutdown or altered rifles ,,many of the 1917 enfield have been the starting point for custom rifles and have been extencivly sporterized through out the years ,,original as issued rifles are getting harder and harder to find these days and collectors look for unaltered examples ,,some of the sporterized rifle are still worth money and the value is based on how nice the sporter job was done and the part of the country your in and whos buying it !
