I bought my Remington Model 10 about 3 weeks ago from Cabela's. The asking price was $160, since I work there, the Gun Library manager let me have it for $130 + tax. They did a serial number search and estimated it was manufactured around 1928. The bluing is almost completely gone. The shotgun was manufactured with a full choke barrel. There are 2 small cracks and a chip in the wood on the forend. There are several dings and scratches in the wood of the stock.

hi serbear,
I've been able to find a couple of examples of the model 10, your value is in the $300 - $400 range, heres a link to an add. Thought you might find it interesting.

Thanks for that info, Kim. The side of the receiver and the wood checkering on mine looks different from the picture on Remington's page, so maybe it's even one of the different (better) grades?
