OK, so I walk into my local gunstore to purchase some birdbombs/starbursts for a safe and loud fireworks display (as well as rid my yard of those nasty grackles) on the 4th and was promptly told they are not allowed to sell them anymore - they've been banned.
After much cussing and commiserating, I resigned to change the oil in my wife's car and head to Pep Boys for the supplies I'll need. I get to Pep Boys and walk past a display selling a NITROUS-OXIDE kit for your Japanese import

I Think somewhere in the bible under Revelations you will find some light reading about everything being backwards as we come to the end of our days here on earth. I sure hope it is wrong but, i hold no hope for us as we fall deeper into the abyss of perversion and sicknesss that has ended other civilizations.

The 'explosive power' of NOx is hollywierd myth from that STUPID movie.
What it does is cram more oxygen into your combustion chamber so you can add more gasoline for more power.
Nitrous Oxide by itself isn't flammable. It's hazmatted as an oxidizer. Something that'll make fire more intense.
