Supreme Court Shoots Down D.C. Gun Ban
After the coming of the supreme court decision on the DC vs. Heller case we are indeed in need for a small celebration. It is not that I’m kidding myself that the fight is over, but with the important decision that the right to bear arms applies to the private citizen and not just to officials the road is much softer.
A good article on Armed and Safe discusses the understanding that the future struggles would consist of many relatively small questions and decisions on various gun related issues.
But for now let’s just be happy with what has been achieved.
