community shoot weapons

Looks like the last big bbq at my house! It's great to get together with friends and have a big shoot. Before my oldest son went back to Iraq we had a huge bbq and bon fire to send him off. Every shooter I know was there. I had to warn the neighbors about a mile away that alot of noise was about to happen, they joined in. Take care.

my son finishs basic in two weeks then he's off to san antonio for 16 wks of medic school. he's a country boy who thinks basic was a blast after they started the weapons familarization. he scored 2nd out of 348 for expert. what a waste on a medic.... i think his vavorite was the 40mm grenade launcher, he thinks it would be great for coyote hunting.

It would be hard to find the coyote

WOW, this is nice!
Once, when my vision was better I was quite a sniper too.
My best shot was over a bet with my commander that I would hit a 5.56 shell with M16 (long) from 70 ft.
Got a vacation for that ::

I'll try remember uploading a picture of the shell (I've saved it till today for luck).

My son is doing this 3rd tour in Iraq , he is in the navy
he loads bombs on the air force planes. Has been their since he went in . I taught him well , he also operates a .50 cal. from the port side of the ship, that's my boy !
