I have a colt woodsman second series manufactured approx. June/July 1949 (by serial number).It is in excellent condition with only slight holster wear on the barrel. Would like approx. value?

hello a woodsman second series with 6" barrel has a book value of 550 good -750 excellent/mint,,the 4" version is 100 higher ,,if it has a heavy target barrel.. then prices are even higher,,

Thanks - I appreciate the info. Pretty good increase in value ---
considering I paid $50 for it when I was in the military --- many, many years ago.

yes it is.. and if you still have the original box and paperwork i'd say you could increase those prices proably around 100-150..
