I've seen a lot of quwstions and answers on all manner of weapons.. All very inetersting and I've learned a lot and have seen many questions about guns that I've never heard of.
My question is that I owned a Colt Trooper in .22 magnum that just had to be the 2nd most accurate pistol that I've ever owned or fired. Has anyone here ever owned one or even shot one? Think that it had a 6 & 5/8" barrel. Could tell you some stories about it that you would call me a liar. Had witnesses on a lot of them. Most Accurate for me was a German Navy Lugar. Tradded the pistol for my Golden State 03 30.06. Wanted the rifle more than the pistol. That was about 26/27 yrs ago.

I too owned a colt trooper 22 magnum with an 8-3/8 inch barrel and basically gave it away to a whining cousin after listening to him whine about wanting it for several years. As for accuracy it was truly a tack driver and the worst mistake I ever made in letting it get away from me. I have searched for another one ever since without any luck. If I every find another one for sale or trade in halfway decent condition its bought.

I had a 8" nickle plated trooper in a .22 mag even mounted a 4 power leupold LER scope on it,it was very accurate, very heavy to handle due to being a large frame in small caliber ended up selling it but still have a 6" blue trooper in a .22 long rifle also very accurate, will probably never part with it.
