Colt serial 21469...I think it's 40 cal. How old is it and possible value?

does it say anything else on the slide ,,if it's a 40 cal it's fairly newer within the last 10 years i guess ,,if it looks older than that then mabey a pic would help,, or the slide markings ,,

Also New-Yorkusamerica. Very old gun. Guessing its 1800's
