I have inherited a Colt 45 Government Model. From the serial # I see it was mfg in 1952. It is cross hatched on the front and back of the grip on the narrow sides below the trigger and hammer. I also have the .22 conversion kit for it still in the box along with 4 mags. The gun came in a holster that has U.S stamped on the side of it with another stamp on the back that says Craighead Denver with a logo. Just curious what this gun might be valued at. It is in near perfect condition.

hi stumpy,
check out gunsinternational.com and find a compareable pistol. with the accessories and condition value would easily be 1000+. JMHO
