I have an original Colt bisley made about 1905, caliber 44-40 with 4.75" barrel.
Bore is pitted but rifling completely visible.
Grips have small chip which has been epoxied in place. All numbers match.
Action is tight with a lighter weight trigger pull made by some prior owner. Over 50 years ago I did shoot this gun with no problems.
At that time it was reblued by a very good gunsmith and since then has been kept properly protected and stored and externally looks like new.
A fellow wants to buy it but I need some opinions as to fair value. Any help greatly appreciated. This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
