Saw one in a pawnshop yesterday.Wanted $999.00. Don't know the serial nos. Is this a good buy? Appeared to be in good shape.

i wood say yes ,,but make sure everything is COLT,alot of match shooters will build custom rifles to suit there needs useing different upper and lower combinations ,,unfortunatly i don't beleive makers mark there uppers normally,,the loweres are always marked because the lower is the regestered part of an ar..if an original colt buile rifle prices would be around 1200-1500 depending on rifle specs and configurations ..always offer less at pawn shops and see what they will bargin at ,,sometimes they have room to work with the set prices..
