Hi,
I inherited a Colt pistol marked US Property 1911A1 US Army, sn 160XXXX also marked GHD by the magazine button. Can you tell it's approx value? Cindition is excellent. Thanks.

hello and i'll answer both questions together ,,both pistols were made in 1944 and the GHD stands for Guy H Drewry ,,this was the final inspectors proof mark before they were issued,,prices range from 1000-1500 good-very good at auction.. or to a private collector they may go higher depending on condition,,
