I have a Colt .45 1911 MK IV Series 70. The serial number is 70G08889. It appears to have the original grips and a nice sight machined into the top of the pistol (by Hogue, I'm guessing). I'm interested to know what value it may have and when it was produced. Thanks.

Hey,
I have a model 1911 that is very close in serial number range. Unfortunately I don't have the original box and was wondering what style box your pistol has? Yellow label on edge, or gold?
