I'm looking to sell my Colt 1911 Governement Model .45 ACP C65XXX and was wondering the current market value. I have an orginal leather WWII holseter, two clips, one with hoop and half box of vintage ammo.

There is some minor pitting on the frame, but for the most part has all its orginal blueing.

Here is a link to some pics: http://s303.photobucket.com/albums/nn127/MoPOWeR-349/ guns/?action=view&current=DSC00002.jpg

Thanks!

hello,,very nice package ,,your colt 1911 was made in 1914 ,,and i'd estimate the value of what you have pictured should easily bring between 2000-4000+ at auction or to a collector providing all parts are original to the pistol,,the early holster were brown and i'd bet yours is brown inside,,these were dyed black and should be dated on back with the maker stamped,,possibly a boyd ,,but anyway again a very nice looking old 1911 and very collectable!

The holster is not quiet as old as the colt. It's black on the isside as well and stamped Mar 1963 with larger bold type above MRT and "Bucheimer" printed on the inner portion of an oval.

sounds like a vietnam era holster..still a 20-25 dollar item and goes good with your 1911 package..
