I know of a seller with a Colt M1911 with the following markings:

(Left side of gun)
PATENTED APR 20 1897 COLT's PT F A MFG CO
SEPT 9 1902 DEC 19 1905 FEB 14 1911 HARTFORD CT USA

with colt horse emblem rear of cocking serations about thumb safety

(Right side of gun)
(on slide)
Colt Automatic
Calibre 45

(on frame)
C 7874

I believe it to be a Colt Commerical Model manufactured in 1914. It appears to be in good shape emtal wise though the pics of the grips make them look black.

What say you?
