I am looking for a qualified gunsmith to maybe restore this weapon, It has some pitting on the slide and frame. It is in fair shape. It has great sentimental value to me. Any help would be be greatly appreciated.

hi freespirit,
you colt was manufactued in early 1920 and 6000 where produced that year for commercial purposes. as for a gunsmith you'll need to check in your local area to find one. google gunsmith and your state and it should bring you up some to check with.
