In looking at the notice on the CMP web sight, it's my understanding that these are being sold without sights.

Is there a source of supply for the Redfield Olympic front and rear that were originally available on these rifles?

If you go to the larger gun shows, you may see these sights.

I went to Camp Perry and hand picked of them, many with cracked stocks, dents, gouges. Wood stocks are very dry, but should clean up nice, three of the rifles are pre-64 make. Handpicked a Springfield M1903 with matching barrel and receiver dates, 1918.

Sights are out there floating around, or you can put a scope on it and shoot dimes all day.

Dear Folks: I bought one of those guns. It was very good but they come without manuals and sights. I hope someone will know how to get the bolt out and where to buy some good sights. Paul In Port Clinton.

Dear Ronald: How can you tell 3 of the M52 Winchesters were made before 1964? Do you know of any good Web sites for the Win M52? Paul In Port Clinton.

Paul, Close the bolt while holding the trigger back. Then push the trigger forward and hold it there, open and remove the bolt.

Is there a manual explicitly for the Model 52D??? Did the US Government print one?
