I just got my first AR-15 type rifle and I'm seeing a bunch of cleaning kits and gadgets out there. What do you guys recommend? Any 'one-stop-shopping' type kit or 'must-have' gadgets? (I also own a Browning Hi-Power, an old Mauser in .308 and a 12ga shotgun, so I have a small assortment of cleaning stuff already.)

Start by getting a Dewey coated one-piece cleaning rod. You'll never bugger your muzzle with one of those.

One could also go with the Otis Gun ( http://www.otisgun.com ) cleaning kits without fear of bore damage.
